The parade marks the completion of 44 weeks of intensive training for the Officer Cadets of Commissioning Course 232 all of whom will officially hold HM the King’s Commission as of the stroke of midnight on the day of the parade. In this, the 120th year of the signing of the Anglo-French Entente Cordiale, His Majesty King Charles will be represented by the head of the French Army, Général d’armée Pierre SchilI, Chief of the Army Staff. The General will inspect the Senior Intake, who are the Officer Cadets that will be commissioning, address the parade, and present the prize winners’ awards including the coveted Sword of Honour to the Officer Cadet who in the opinion of the Commandant is the best of the intake.
