Dayton has been favored with a de- lightful week of fall weather, with plenty of sunshine and just enough snap in the air to remind one that autumn is here. With such weather conditions, roses and carnations cropped abundantly, especially roses, which are coming in faster than it is possible to dispose of them. Lilies are in big demand but hard to get, on account of the growers holding them back to allow room for chrysan- themums. At the present time no one is overstocked on chrysanthemums and what few are on the market sell readily. Thus, good prices are obtained for all that come in. We have already had several light frosts, which have in- jured some of the more tender plants, but judging from the looks of the out- door market last week the damage was not great. Growers predict that this warm weather will bring in theii* rose crops too fa
