(No. 2 in series of 4) Towed to tulagi -- Having raised the jap two-man sub from a 24 foot bottom off the western end of Guadalcanal, the Coast Guard tender Ironwood tows it 30 miles to Tulagi Harbor on Florida Island. Dangling in chains from the Tender's crane, the "Lilliputian" under sea raider is maneuvered in toward the beach. Careful calculations keep the tender on an even keel during the operations.
