Captain Ernest Peixotto's photograph shows the remains of Vaux, France, after it was captured by the 9th and 23rd Infantry of the 2nd Division. Vaux is located at the base of Hill 204. The image was taken on November 4, 1918. The drawing was done by Captain Peixotto and issued by the Censor on November 30, 1916.
