Yellow perianth, deep yellow cup with broad edge of orange-red. The petals are very long, giving the flowers a distinct and outstanding character. 35 cts. each; $ per doz.; $ per 100. Barrii Conspicuus. Perianth soft yellow; broad spreading cup, magnificently illuminated with scarlet; a most distinct and beau- tiful sort, and should be grown in quantity for cutting, as it lasts longer when cut than most sorts. 15 cts. each; $ per doz.; $ per 100. Barrii Firebrand. Flowers of comparatively small size compared to the latest high-priced introductions, but not inferior to any in brilliancy, perianth creamy-white with glowing red fluted cups.
