Hawaii Army National Guard Lt. Col. (P) David R. Hatcher II, commander of the 29th Infantry Brigade Combat Team (IBCT), participate in the pinning ceremony with his wife and son during his promotion ceremony Kalaeloa, Hawaii, July 1, 2022. Hatcher enlisted as an infantryman in 1987, commissioned in 2000 and commanded the 1-487 Field Artillery Battalion from 2019 to 2021 prior to assuming command of the 29th IBCT on April 4, 2022.
