She is a daughter of Jesseand Sophia (Swan) Larkin, both of whom werenatives of England and came to America at anearly day, being among the pioneer settlers ofJoliet, where they established their home in the father was soon afterward called to hisfinal rest, passing away when he had been aresident of the county for only three months,. £UmUs?\_
