At the far end of this valley I could discern a broader one, the Tzanma, its breadth being some two to three miles, dotted here and there with clumps of fir and spruce, imparting an air of restful comfort after the monotonous plains of the southern ranges. I had been informed by the Kalmuks of the Yulduz I should 187.
