Authorities announced the arrest of a 21-year-old Bangladshi man, Quazi Mohammad Rezwanul Ahsan Nafis, who they say tried to set off what he believed to be a car bomb in front of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York on Wednesday, October 17, 2012. The FBI says the arrest was the result of a sting operation and there was no bomb and the public was never in danger. The suspect faces charges of conspiring to use weapons of mass destruction and providing material support to Al Qaeda.
