The pattern consists of a succession of six-leaf flowers, one of which is always in a fan-shaped shell. The next flower is between two scallops. Between the flowers runs a wavy line of three thicker adjacent threads. The fan shape of the shell is created by lobes hanging from the wave troughs. The upper edge consists of a concatenation of smaller fan-shaped shells, always two per wave top. The flowers are made in shape.
