Steam Locomotive at Chaulin-Chamby Museum - 1

Following the nationalization of the German Railways, which took place during the construction of the locomotives, the machines were delivered in 1927 to the Deutsche reichsbahn (later to become Deutsche Bundesbahn ) and received the numbers 99’191 to 99’194. Equipped with multiple accessories, they were witness to the influence which the large railways had on secondary lines in the twenties and they satisfactorily handled both passenger and goods traffic. The Nagold-Altensteig closed in 1965, but as 99193 was in good condition, it was kept in the hope of selling it. However, in 1970, a generous donor offered it to the Blonay-Chamby Museum.
