Upper Amazon Basin only. Diagnosis. Dyris up to 16 mm high with evenly convex whorls; sculptured with between six and ten spiral ribs per whorl on early whorls; later whorls with spiral grooves. Description. The description of the early whorls is based on the newly extracted juveniles from Pichana, as all the adults are damaged.
