A report recently prepared by the Julius Pintsch Co. of Ber-lin, shows in detail the number of cars and locomotives whichhave been eciuipped with Pintsch gas lighting on the railroadsof a large number of countries, and including statements withregard to gas buoys and Pintsch gas manufacturing plants. The report shows that there are 90,890 cars. locomotivesand S92 gas buoys and beacois using this system, with 303 gasplants for making the gas required for them. It also states that the Midland Railway (England) has 2,454 cars fitted withthis .system, and operates 9 gas plants; also that the & South Coast has cars so e<iui
