A knightly sword, German, 2nd half of the 12th century Double-edged blade with a broad fuller running to the point on both sides. Recognizable angle of twist pattern on the ricasso. Quadrangular iron cross hilt with a pagoda roof-shaped, pointed oval pommel. A conserved sword, complete for almost its entire length with notched edges and heavy traces of corrosion. Length 91 cm.
