Recruits with Fox Company, 2nd Recruit Training Battalion, prepare for the next portion of the test during the Water Survival Basic Qualification at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, June 11. As a graduation requirement, recruits must perform various swim exercises. Annually, more than 17,000 males recruited from the Western Recruiting Region are trained at MCRD San Diego. Fox Company is scheduled to graduate Aug. 10.
