Soldiers salute the flag during a Burning of the Colors ceremony Nov. 28, 2016 held by the 2nd Engineer Battalion at Kuwait Naval Base. The battalion remembers its fallen during the Korean War each year by burning its flag, recalling the Battle of Kunu-Ri when the battalion commander was forced to destroy equipment and burn its flag to avoid its capture by the Chinese army.
