The Cathedral of the Madonna del Ponte, or Santa Maria del Ponte, is the main place of worship in Lanciano, in the province of Chieti, the cathedral of the archdiocese of Lanciano-Ortona. National monument since 1902, in February 1909 Pope Pius X elevated it to the rank of minor basilica.
