Bottomland vegetation previously dominated by Bouteloua gracilis and Agropy- ron smithii, is mostly Agropyron cristatum, Hordeumjubatum, and Kochia scoparia. The pine trees discussed in the 1959 descrip- tion are actually junipers (Juniperus spp.). 39
