Chinese man practice Tai Chi in Seward Park in the newly trendy Lower East Side Chinatown neighborhood in NYC. WH Seward Park. In this quiet park in Lower East Side can be seen every morning around nine as several groups of Chinese people have to do tai-chi. The park also has a playground for children. In front of the park at 173 East Broadway, Forward Building is the building that housed the wording of the Jewish newspaper The Jewish Daily Forward until it closed in 1974 and the building became part of a Chinese missionary church.
