In1911—12 cones were sent to me from old pines in the heath of HaldSkramso in Jutland, and the w^eight of the seed w^as as foliow^s: Weight of 1000 seeds Seed from the heath of Hald (5x 100 seeds weighed) grams » » Skramso, old trees » » » » » » » young » » » » The germinating capacity is good, 16 /q, 48 /^ and 32 o/o respec-tively, in 5 days.
