(Sept. 14, 2018) Chief Mineman Fleener, assigned to Explosive Ordnance Disposal Training and Evaluation Unit (EODTEU) 1, receives his chief's cover from Senior Chief Mineman Hawes during the EOD Group (EODGRU) 1 chief pinning ceremony at Balboa Park Club Ballroom in San Diego. 24 Sailors from EODGRU1, EOD Mobile Units 1 and 3; EOD Training and Evaluation Unit 1; and EOD Expeditionary Support Unit 1 received their gold fouled anchors during the ceremony.
