SAINTS - HENRY Saint Henry II, Holy Roman Emperor, surnamed 'the Pious' and 'the Lame', was born in 972, son of the Duke of Bavaria. He was crowned Pope in 1014, and afterwards built the cathedral and monastery at Bamburg.
