A most desirable new species, especially useful to grow as a pot plant for decorative purposes or for planting in suspended baskets; the fronds are fre- quently 4 feet long, are of a rich shade of green and most useful for cutting, retaining their freshness after being cut for weeks, besides plants of maturity bear beautiful large berries of coral red. It will make an excellent house plant, as it withstands dry atmosphere, and will succeed in almost any position.
