Verification of an MRI technique to direct paramagnetic liposomes towards a tumor, using a magnet. Once fixed, the artificially engineered waxy capsules are heated by magnetic fields, selectively releasing cancer-killing drugs. Here, human tumor implanted into the right flank of nude mouse (this type of mouse is immuno-deficient, facilitating growth of human tumors).
