Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Jadon Valdez, a rifleman with 1st Light Armored Reconnaissance (LAR) Battalion, 1st Marine Division (MARDIV), provides security while on patrol during Exercise Southern Katipo 17 (SK17), at St. Arnaud, New Zealand, Oct. 26, 2017.
