VIOLAS, or TUFTED PANSIES (Viola Cornuta) The improved forms of Viola Cornuta arc rapidly growing in favor. They flower continuously for nearly eight months in the year; and while their (lowers are not so large as those of the Pansy, their bright colors and oriferousness make them welcome additions to any garden. Blue Perfection. Deep purplish blue. Lutea Splendens. Rich golden yellow. Papilio. Violet, with dark eye; the most effective for massing. White Perfection. Long spikes of blue flowers from July to Septem Pectinata. Trailing habit, fine for the rockery, masse blue flowers in May. Wallflower Repens. A useful rock or carpeting plant, with light-blue flowers. Rupestris. A fine rock plant growing 3 to 4 inches high; thickly matted deep green foliage, hidden in spring under a cloud of bright blue
