CANADA - - Satellite view of Hurricane Fiona that began the week wreaking havoc in the tropical Atlantic, causing widespread damage in Guadaloupe, Puerto Rico, several smaller Caribbean islands and Bermuda and ended the week in the Canadian Maritime provinces. After making landfall in Puerto Rico and bringing fierce winds and rain to the Dominican Republic and Bermuda, Hurricane Fiona - which is fueled by anomalously warm seas as a result of climate change - made landfall in Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island as one of the strongest storms ever to reach Canada. With winds of 130 mph (215 km/h), causing 27 fatalities and at least US$800 million in damage Hurricane Fiona has been one of the most devastating hurricanes of the 2020 season - Photo: Geopix/NASA
