Kidney and suprarenal. Representation of the kidney structures (in pinkish colors) and the left ureter (yellow duct) views in 3/4. At the centre of the kidney is located a series of structures represented in section view in orangish yellow. These structures are constituted of calices that receive the papillae of the pyramids (pinkish structure of the kidney in pyramid shape of which the thinner extremity goes towards the centre of the kidney), pierced with small orifices through which the urine pours forth into the renal pelvis that will take the ureter up to the bladder. The kidney is capped with its suprarenal glad (yellow gland above the kidney).
