Hurricane in Palm Beach

Red Cross photo of hurricane destruction in Palm Beach, Florida in August of 1949. Winds of 125 miles an hour with gusts up to 150 MPH. The hurricane unroofed houses, smashed windows, toppled trees and blew the tops off of parking meters.
