Fort Hood, Texas — Spc. Patrick Dardiz, left, and Sgt. Juan Martinez, aircraft structural repairers, Delta Troop, 7th Squadron, 17th Cavalry Regiment, 1st Air Cavalry Brigade, add and check transmission fluid levels for a tactical vehicle while in the field, Jan. 31. The levels were found to be low during the daily preventive maintenance checks and services and corrected immediately. The battalion’s mission is to provide support to 2nd Armored Brigade Combat Team during Pegasus Forge IV.
