Their luxuriance renders them particularly desirable for covering arbors, walls, etc.; flowers large and bell-shaped. Mixed colors, per packet, 6 cents. Cyperus, or Umbrella Plant. Grows finely in water with rich soil or mud, throwing up long stalks with narrow green leaves. Easily raised from seed. Packet, 6c. ^ ^ ^ Candytuft. This good old annual has been the garden favorite for three hundred years. A fine edging plant, and good for cut- ing. The new Empress is extra fine for massing, or for rib- bon gardening as plants of it are solid sheets of white when in bloom. Sow very early in open ground, and keep seed heads picked off for a constant succession of bloom. All Colors. Mixed—Many fine shades. Packet, 3 cents. Pure White—A favorite for floral work.
