A pavilion where bodies were laid out before being taken to a Zoroastrian Tower of Silence near Yazd in Iran for a "sky burial".

Set on lonely barren hilltops outside Yazd in Iran are the Towers of Silence where, by Zoroastrian tradition, corpses lay uncovered to be picked clean by vultures. At their foot are several pavilions where the bodies were prepared and laid out before being taken to the Towers and this is one of these.
