Timehri : the journal of the Royal Agricultural and Commercial Society of British Guiana . disinclination to work onthe soil by the then rising generation led to further neglect, until the aidof the Government was required. The Government assisted by helpingwith loans, granting village administration and what not, until now theGovernment is perhaps looked upon as the remedy for all evils.
