Of the 52 colonies which I placed in the cellar in the fall of 1900, I found, when returning them to the summer stands April 4, 1901, that two had died and one had only a few bees, which I gave to another colony. The most of tne colonies were strong, but I had to feed some. The honey-flow was short, and rain came too late for fall honey, but never- theless I have shipped 2222 at 13 cents and 63 pounds at 12 cents. I sold 97 pounds a
