Coca Bag, Peru, 1476/1532. Small bag used for carrying coca leaves which, when chewed, act as a mild stimulant and suppress hunger, thirst, pain, and fatigue. Coca leaves can be processed to produce the drug cocaine, the psychoactive constituent.
