Blue sky view yellow bungalow on top of slope with brown poorly-bedded volcaniclastic rocks, Windward, Carriacou, West indies

Tertiary volcanic rocks occupy two-thirds of Carriacou. The volcanics include volcaniclastics (blocks ejected from a volcano then transported and re-worked by a mechanical agent such as running water), lava flows and dome lavas. The volcanic rocks range in composition from basalts to andesites.
