Whether being used in the groves or in the open fields, thesewage is not allowed to run upon any one area longer than fromfour to ten days at a time, after which period it is turned uponanother area, and as soon as the area upon which it had beenrunning is sufficiently dry to be worked, which is usually withintwo or three days, it is thoroughly cultivated or plowed.
