The Axus is Absext, and the Eectum EndsBY A Fistula at any point of the Perixeum orSacral Regiox.—The rectum may open at some portionof the perineum or sacral region, or it may terminate ina narrow channel under the raphd of the perineum andopen at the prepuce or at the symphysis pubis, or mayend in several fistulte at different points (Fig. 5). Suchpatients may have satisfactory evacuations through thefistulge, and may live for months or years without suffer-ing much inconvenience from the deformity.
