It was first published in 1888. This edition was published in 1902. It is by Buffalo Bill (1846-1917), an American plainsman, scout, and showman. His real name was William Frederick Cody. He organized Buffalo Bill’s Wild West Show in 1883 and toured with it for many years. Caption reads: The Battle at Point Pleasant. This was a war waged by the Delawares, Mingos, Wyandots, and Cayugas under chiefs known as Logan, Cornstalk, and Red Eagle. The final battle was fought in the neighborhood of Point Pleasant at the junction of the Ohio and Kanawha. The Virginians won, They were led by General Andrew Lewis.
