Butner Hat Shop in Old Salem North Carolina, USA
Old Salem has restored houses that were built as long ago as the 1700s. Adam butner built this house for his business as a hatter. He later built the house north of this building as his residence. Unsuccessful in business he sold the building and it was converted to the jail and town hall of Salem.
