Semi-finalists receive their placement awards during the 2018 Marine Corps Freestyle Finals in Fargo, North Dakota, July 15. The Freestyle Finals featured more than 30 top-level athletes from across the country. Wrestlers share many of the same values as those exhibited by Marines, so the Marine Corps Recruiting Command developed a national-level wrestling marketing relationship to engage the USMC’s target audience and their influencers.
