Hundreds of demonstrators accompanied by political figures including the Mayor of Liverpool Joe Anderson (left) and Shadow Minister for Public Health Luciana Berger (right) joined a march through Liverpool city centre on Saturday, October 12, 2013 which focused on the tagline "Celebrating Not Dividing". The demonstration which was called by Unite the Union, was held to spread the message that far-right British National Party (BNP) leader Nick Griffin must be defeated at the European Parliament elections in 2014.
