FORT IRWIN, CALIF. – Performing African Griot, Drum and Dance, guests from Africa share their traditional music with the audience at the National Training Center’s African American History Month observance, Feb. 1, 2017. Since 1976, African American History Month has been observed throughout the country, the month-long celebration continues to grow with each passing year.
