Subway enthusiasts as well as regular travelers ride the "Train of Many Colors" on the Flushing line in the New York subway


Vintage advertising in the "Train of Many Colors" on the Flushing line in the New York subway on the way to the World's Fair anniversary on Sunday, may 18, 2014. The train consists of vintage cars in service from 1932 to 1977 including Redbirds and the blue and white World's Fair cars. The Metropolitan Transit Authority has several of these trains for the various subway lines which they put into use for special occasions. the trains normally reside in the New York City Transit Museum in downtown Brooklyn where they can be visited every day.
