Qingbai bowl with brown slip decoration, late Southern Song dynasty, China, 13th century. A conical bowl from Nanfeng kiln, Jiangxi province, with everted brown slipped rim and concave section. The interior of the bowl is decorated with an incised prunus spray and a new moon in brown slip. The whole piece is covered with finely crackled Qingbai glaze. The base and the lower part of the exterior are unglazed. The inner rim is covered with a brown slip.
