Students sit holding their graduation certificates during the first Maritime Center of Excellence graduation held at the Bandari College in Mombasa. Seventeen students from eight African countries to include Comoros, Egypt, Kenya, Mauritius, Senegal, Seychelles, Tanzania and Uganda graduated the course. MCE is sponsored by Combined Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa and provides operational level training that builds maritime safety and security capacity in order to promote a stable and secure Africa.
