The purpose of the Commercial Intelligence Service is to promote the sale ofCanadian products abroad and to provide Canadian Manufacturers and exporterswith information regarding trade conditions and opportunities in countries inwhich Canadian goods are likely to find a market. The Department gathers, compiles and publishes in the Weekly Bulletin andsupplements thereto a large volume of useful commercial information. Personsdesiring it and interested in Canadian production or export may have their namesplaced* on the regular mailing list on application to the Department of Trade andCommerce, Ottawa. There is no subscription to the Weekly Bulletin but itscirculation is strictly confined to Canada. The Department invites correspondence from Canadian manufacturers andexporters upon all trade matters.
