Street through the 'trullie' houses of Alberobello Puglia.
In Puglia ,the southern 'heel' of Italy are found the remarkable 'trullie' houses. These are examples of mortarless beehive looking buildings ,the technique which dates back to prehistoric times is still in use today. The town of Alberobello has been designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site,and well worth a visit to explore these remarkable house.
