Brayford Pool, Lincoln, Lincolnshire, United Kingdom, where the Fossdyke Navigation and River Witham meet. Like many towns and cities situated on river systems and canal networks re-development is taking place along the 'river frontage.' Once the scene of much commercial activity, it is now being replaced by more leisurely orientated pastimes. Warehouses and such like giving way to cinemas, places to eat and drink, retail outlets, and hotels, office blocks converted into desirable residences offering scenic veiws, moorings offered for many boats, to attract the tourists. The University is seen here on the right of the picture.
