At the time of the incorporation of the Corbin Cabinet Lock Co., P. & had no room at their disposal for the new company. To keep thebusiness in New Britain it was decided to erect and rent to them a buildingsuitable to their needs and accordingly such a building was built of brick, onOrchard Street and Park Street, just across Orchard Street from P. & F.
